Wow! A Doggie!

This past week we went for a family walk and a mini photo shoot for Kylie's 9 month birthday. It was absolutely priceless when we caught her face in action when she saw a doggie...

I love her excitement!

We think she is saying mommy, daddy, banana, bye, and grandpa....of course, no one can tell what she's saying except for daddy and me:). She's also putting her hands together to Pat-a-Cake and she LOVES the Itsy Bitsy Spider song. She has slept through the night 5 nights in a row so I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed that she has started a new trend. She has 6 teeth and she loves going for walks (our usual daily outing).We have a very active baby and she keeps us very busy, but she is so much fun and I LOVE being a stay at home mommy.

Let's Play!

My best friend dropped her son, Christian, off today for a little while while she went to her fitness class. Christian and Kylie got into a little mischief;)

Christian: "I've got an idea! Let's climb up the stairs!"
Kylie: "Ok. I'll follow you!"

Christian: "Are you coming?"
Kylie: "Are you sure this is ok?"

Christian: "Come on...I'll give you a hand."

A Family Outing

     This morning we took a family walk and took a little trip to the park. It's so fun to watch Kylie on the swings and have mini photo shoots:)

Hello, Good-bye!

Our little Kylie Kat is waving hello and good-bye! It might seem like a small accomplishment, but it's BIG to me! At first, I wasn't sure if she was doing it on purpose, but I kept saying hello or bye-bye and she waved each time! The true test came when she waved bye to a stranger when we left a restaurant a couple days ago. I THINK, but I'm not completely sure yet, she is saying mama and tries to say bye. Mama is pretty clear, but bye is more like "buh". I haven't recorded the first word milestone YET because like I said, I'm not sure she is ACTUALLY saying and associating, but she's getting close...I can feel it!

8 Months!

I'm a little behind, but Kylie is now 8 months old! I can't believe her one year birthday is coming up in less than 4 months! She is full on crawling and loves it when I play chase with her as she crawls away as fast as she can! She also pulls herself up to stand with support, loves to crawl up steps, and LOVES to eat. She is big on her fruits right now. She gets really excited when she sees mommy and daddy, her grandparents, or her aunties. I have no idea how much she weighs right now because we haven't been to the doctor's in a while, but she looks pretty healthy to me!
