Happy 1st Birthday Kylie!

This past Saturday, August 27th, we had the joy of celebrating Kylie's 1st birthday! She was a little under the weather, but we still had fun celebrating with close family members and friends. Jamie...we missed you! This blog post is for you! Matt, Grandma, and Grandpa....somehow I didn't get pictures of you! SOOOOO sorry! Thank you grandma and grandpa for letting us so graciously borrow your home!

Lazy Pool Days

We've had a fun summer so far filled with lazy pool days with many friends. The Leonards joined us one day. We bbq'd and had fun in the sun!

 We also went swimming at Grandpa and Grandma Gomez's house one day:)

And yet, another day Emily and Angela invited us over for a playdate. Angela has transformed her garage into baby heaven!

4th of July!

I'm a little late, but sometimes, with a little one, I don't always have time readily available;) This year we had a fun, food-filled 4th of July spent with friends we call family.

We had an awesome time and even though we didn't get to see the fireworks because we had to put little Kylie to bed, our day and tummies were quite full!

10 Months!

Our baby girl turned 10 months old on the 27th! Such a big girl! She loves books, is learning to stand on her own, climbs up the stairs, and enjoys being chased!

Sometimes it feels like the time has gone by fast, other times it doesn't. I love this little girl like I didn't know I could love, but she sure keeps me busy! I can only imagine what it will be like when she starts walking! In my previous post, I shared that I put her in a contest. Kylie is my little girl, so naturally I think she is adorable and I love her to pieces, but I want you to know that I'm not one of those parents that thinks my child is the ONLY precious baby. I just wanted to clear that up because I feel kind of silly putting her in all these contests, but at the same time, I can't help but wonder, "What if she wins?". Can't blame me for trying...Ok, now that I cleared that up, I can share more pictures of our 10 month photo shoot :)

Playdate at Bree's

Today Kylie and I had a chance to join in on a fun playdate at my friend Bree's house. Kylie had fun exploring and playing while I had a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones!:)
